Episode Context

As episode 1 of 24, "Zero" is purely foundational, it introduces the central conflict, key players, and the perilous world they inhabit without relying on prior season knowledge. The dark tone and unresolved tension established here carry directly into episode 2, "A Night of Wild Rain," which builds on the momentum and themes this premiere sets in motion. This is the launchpad for what appears to be a complex, character-driven narrative across a full two-cour run.
