It's more slice of life with romantic elements, similar to episode 7. It's also has some twists that I didn't see coming. Will the D-Pilots be ready in the time for the mission? We'll just have to see!

The ceremony surrounding the maiden selection feels extremely tense, with Hisone struggling to keep up. At the same time, Eru is emotionally affected, and Nao quietly observing everything adds a subtle but powerful emotional weight.
