yamcha and the others beating the ginyu force on king kais planet felt a bit random but it was cool to see them actually win a fight for once

gohan and krillin jumping back in to help piccolo even though they were drained was a really cool moment for my two favorite side characters

you have to give it up for piccolo for taking that beating from frieza just to buy goku enough time to finish his attack

I was starting to think the spirit bomb was never going to actually happen after all those episodes of goku just standing there, and the visual of it descending from orbit was actually terrifying because it looks like it wiped out half the planet and I want to know if Frieza is dead since that explosion was huge and namek is just a hole now

I still cannot believe the size of that spirit bomb when it was coming down from space and seeing the crater it left makes me wonder if anything could survive that hit

frieza acting like he forgot he already saw piccolo earlier in the fight is such a jerk move and shows how little he cares about anyone else on namek

Yamcha actually holding his own against Recoome on King Kai planet was a huge shock and it was great to see him finally get a win after everything that happened with the Saibamen

Everyone across the galaxy giving their energy made that blast feel so much more important than a normal kamehameha

Frieza's confusion about Piccolo being alive just proves he doesn't even view anyone as a real threat until they are beating him up

That spirit bomb looked like a literal sun and seeing it swallow Frieza whole was the most satisfying thing ever

The Ginyu Force fighting Yamcha felt a bit like a distraction from the main fight, but seeing the Spirit Bomb finally hit Frieza was worth the wait.

You could see the fear in Frieza's eyes when that ball of energy from the whole solar system started coming down on him

The way Yamcha and the others beat the Ginyu Force on King Kai's planet made me happy, even if it is just filler. It was a nice break from the stress on Namek where Goku was struggling to finish the Spirit Bomb, and I really thought Piccolo was going to die when he jumped in front of Frieza to buy more time.

I was screaming when that massive spirit bomb finally dropped because we have been waiting so many episodes for Goku to actually throw it

Piccolo is a real one for diving into that blast and the way he helped Gohan and Krillin buy time for the Spirit Bomb was his best moment yet

The Spirit Bomb at last dropping on Frieza felt like the end of the world and the visuals of the energy swallowing everything were incredible

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 94 lands deep in the Frieza saga's climactic stretch, directly following Piccolo's critical intervention that bought Goku time to prepare his ultimate attack. This installment serves as the final pressure build before 'Transformed at Last,' one of the most iconic turning points in all of Dragon Ball Z, meaning every moment of stalling and sacrifice here carries enormous narrative weight. It's the calm-before-the-storm episode that rewards patient viewers who've watched the Namek conflict escalate across dozens of episodes.
