Gohan turning into that colossal ape was truly horrifying; I literally gasped when he started smashing through the landscape without any semblance of control. It totally cemented for me why Piccolo didn't hesitate to take such extreme measures with the moon – that raw, untamed power is just too much of a threat to leave unchecked.

I honestly did not expect Piccolo to just vaporize the moon to stop Gohan from rampaging like that, and it really shows how quick he thinks on his feet compared to the others. Seeing Gohan so scared and crying for his mom makes the survival training feel super harsh but you can tell it is going to change him

It is kind of slow watching Gohan cry on a rock for half the episode but the squirrel moment was sweet and then things got crazy with the moon. The survival stuff makes him seem so small
