I was honestly shocked at how Piccolo's personality softened after he merged with Nail because he usually only cares about his own strength. Seeing Vegeta try his best against Frieza only to get totally humiliated was hard to watch, but it makes Piccolo's arrival even better. I just hope Goku heals up before Frieza kills everyone on Namek.
