That arm regrowing on Piccolo was absolutely nasty and I love how cold he is to poor Gohan after Goku died

Episode Context

Episode 6 marks the definitive transition from the Raditz confrontation into the Saiyan Saga's training phase, splitting the narrative between Goku's otherworldly journey toward King Kai and Piccolo's harsh mentorship of Gohan. It directly follows the fallout of Raditz's defeat and establishes the dual training arcs that will define the next stretch of episodes before the remaining Saiyan warriors arrive on Earth. Everything here is foundational, the urgency set up now pays off significantly once Vegeta and Nappa enter the picture.
