I am genuinely shaking after that ending because they actually destroyed the Earth and killed everyone. Watching Piccolo and the boys get vaporized while they were still unconscious was just brutal, and I really felt for Vegeta when he was screaming at Goku. It is crazy to think that absorbing the Kais actually made Buu weaker and more manageable this whole time

When Goku made the call to save Dende, my stomach just sank realizing he was leaving Gohan and Goten to fend for themselves against Buu. I truly didn't understand how he could prioritize a healer over his own kids in that moment, it felt like such a bizarre move for him.

I seriously thought the gang would find a way to stop Earth from just getting blown to smithereens, so when it happened, my jaw dropped. Goku choosing to grab Dende and Mr. Satan over his own kids, even for the Dragon Balls, absolutely gut-punched me; I can't imagine having to make a decision like that. And Vegeta's heartbroken fury at Goku? That really hit me as a dad, seeing him lose it because he knows exactly what it's like to want to protect his own son.
