I honestly thought they were done for when that internal Buu started slamming their heads together, but Vegeta really had him cornered by threatening that pod. It was so weird seeing the monster actually scared for once and begging for mercy while Vegeta just smirked at him. Ripping that thing out felt like such a huge risk since nobody knows what happens next
