This episode feels so heavy because of how Piccolo is desperately stalling for time, you see him sweating while Buu just stares at that hourglass, and it makes the atmosphere feel suffocating. Then the moment with Chi Chi happens and it completely changes the energy of the arc because it is rare to see a villain be this casually cruel

Super Buu really just walked up and turned Chi Chi into an egg before eating her like it was nothing and that is messed up

My stomach turned when Super Buu ate the wife of Goku and I just cannot believe he did that in front of everyone

I am actually shaking because seeing Chi Chi get crushed like an egg was so dark and I did not expect this show to go there today

Piccolo trying to explain the Time Chamber while Buu stares at that hourglass is the most tense the show has been in a while because you know he is going to snap

Watching Goten and Trunks train while everyone dies outside is a lot of pressure on two kids and you can really feel the clock ticking down

You can tell the writers totally forgot about the two person limit for the time chamber because there are four people in there now. It is a bit distracting but the tension makes up for it

Goten and Trunks better get their fusion right soon because that sucker punch from Buu was a massive reality check. They are playing with fire trying to fight that monster after what happened to Chi-Chi

That hourglass scene is going to be very popular for memes because you can feel how much Buu hates waiting and he is such a loose cannon while Piccolo talks

The scene where Chi-Chi confronted Buu was brave, but my stomach turned when he crushed the egg. I have never seen a main character go out in such a weirdly brutal way before

Piccolo stalling for time was smart and all, but seeing Buu actually lose his patience with that hourglass was hilarious. It really highlights how he is basically just a giant spoiled toddler with the power to end the world. The kids are getting worked to the bone because they are the only hope left for Earth

The way Buu just ended Chi-Chi was actually horrifying to watch. It happened so fast and it shows how much of a monster he really is compared to the fat one

Goten and Trunks pushing themselves in the time chamber makes the stakes feel so much higher and they think they can save everyone. Buu just punches Trunks right in the face

I noticed that Piccolo and the kids and Buu are all in the time chamber at once even though the show said only two people could fit. The rules of this world feel pretty random lately

Watching Piccolo use his brain to stall for time while the kids train is great. Buu staring at that hourglass is hilarious and then he just smashes it when he gets bored

I still cannot believe Buu turned Chi-Chi into an egg and stomped on her like that. She was standing up for her son and then she was gone in a second

Seeing Chi-Chi get turned into an egg and crushed like that was genuinely horrific, and I feel so bad for Goten having to watch it happen. Piccolo being so smart by taking the scenic route to the time chamber was the only highlight in a really stressful episode, and I just hope these kids stop playing around soon because Buu is no joke

Watching Gotenks throw those weak punches and seeing they did absolutely nothing to Buu really shows how outclassed they are and now everything feels way more desperate

Piccolo definitely carried the weight of this episode, especially with that clever plan to stretch out every second before they have to face that monster inside the chamber
