Episode Context

Landing at episode 229 of 291, this falls squarely in the Buu Saga's most critical stretch, where alliances fracture and characters are forced into defining choices. The episodes leading up to this have been layering Vegeta's growing frustration and inner turmoil, and 'Vegeta's Pride' serves as the dramatic payoff to that buildup. What unfolds here directly shapes the trajectory of the saga's most pivotal conflicts and character dynamics moving forward.
