EPISODE REVIEWS

I did not think Kibito would get taken out that fast after all the hype he got and it makes the demon king look scary as hell

Dabura just spat on Piccolo and Krillin and turned them into actual rocks and that is a crazy way to start a fight

Episode Context

At episode 221 of 291, this falls squarely in the heart of the Buu Saga, well past the World Tournament setup and deep into the escalating conflict involving Majin Buu and the dark forces surrounding him. Prior episodes have been steadily raising the threat level as Earth's defenders scramble to respond to an increasingly uncontrollable situation. 'King of the Demons' sets the stage for further power shifts and confrontations that will define the saga's back half.
