the part where videl figured out her dad lied about cell and then apologized to gohan was actually pretty touching and it shows she finally gets how strong gohan really is compared to her father

Babidi treats his own guys so bad that even Frieza looks like a nice boss and the whole vibe of this new arc is dark

I cannot believe how fast the tone shifted because one second we are at a tournament, and then suddenly Babidi is exploding his own henchmen, and Dabura is turning people to stone or just straight up murdering them. Watching the absolute brutality of it all was wild and it makes me actually worried for Goku and the others

Spopovich literally blew up and that was the most brutal thing this show has done in a long time

Babidi looks like a tiny raisin but seeing him pop Spopovich was absolutely brutal and unexpected

The introduction of Babidi really shifts the tone from a fun tournament to something way more sinister, especially when you see how easily he discards his own minions without a second thought

I am honestly still reeling from how Spopovich died because that came out of nowhere and was so violent for this show lately and then seeing Dabura show up as the King of the Demon Realm just makes the scale of this new threat feel massive compared to the tournament and I am worried about what that means for Gohan

That minion went through all that trouble just to get disposed of like trash and it makes the new wizard seem so much more dangerous than a regular fighter

It actually disturbed me seeing Spopovich just explode like that and it shows Babidi is a way bigger monster than any of the tournament guys

Watching Videl realize her dad is a total fraud was so satisfying, because she finally sees Gohan for the actual legend he is and it really changes their whole dynamic

Babidi killing his own guy after getting what he wanted was cold and it makes things feel a lot scarier for Goku and the others now
