I still cant believe Goku is just going to let Gohan fight Cell and his calm attitude while staying in that super saiyan form is so weird to watch after seeing how much Trunks struggled

Episode Context

Episode 168 falls deep into the Cell Saga, well past the Androids' introduction and Cell's transformation arc, positioning the fighters at the critical juncture where the Cell Games are being established as the ultimate proving ground. The preceding episodes have built toward this moment through intense training sequences, particularly Goku and Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and Cell's ascension to his perfect form. This episode sets the stage for the Cell Games tournament itself, bridging preparation and execution in what becomes DBZ's defining showdown arc.
