Episode Context

Sitting roughly at the midpoint of Dragon Ball Z's total run, Episode 126 marks the critical transition from the Android Saga's preparation phase into its active conflict, the payoff for the timeline warnings Trunks delivered and the intense training undertaken by Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the rest of the Z Fighters. Everything preceding this episode was about the countdown; everything after escalates toward even greater, unforeseen threats that will define the Cell Saga. This is the hinge point where the series stops asking 'are they ready?' and starts answering it.
