The part where Goku says he is staying in space was a real gut punch for Gohan and everyone else waiting for him and it is wild how Vegeta is the one coming up with ideas to help them use the dragon balls even if he just wants to find out how to become a super saiyan himself to beat Goku and stay ahead

Bulma letting Vegeta stay at her place was a huge surprise, especially since the guy was a literal monster to everyone just a few episodes ago

I really enjoyed seeing the guys interact on the island and Vegeta standing off to the side looking like he belongs there is a total trip after the fight we just saw

He spent the whole series trying to kill these people and now he's just hanging around waiting for his rival to get back
