Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of The Final Chapters, this episode follows the escalation of the Majin Buu crisis and the devastating losses that forced the remaining fighters to regroup and find unconventional solutions. The Fusion training introduced here represents the heroes' primary strategic countermeasure and becomes a defining element of the battles ahead. This preparation phase bridges the gap between the arc's initial chaos and the next major confrontation with Buu.
