Episode Context

At episode 43 of 64, GT is deep into its final major saga, and this entry escalates the stakes by resurrecting Cell and Frieza as active threats rather than distant memories. It builds directly on the supernatural chaos established in surrounding episodes, where the boundary between the living world and the afterlife has broken down catastrophically. This episode sets the stage for Goku to confront compounding dangers, pushing toward the saga's endgame confrontations still ahead.
