EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 16's successful rescue of Dende from Degesu, Episode 17 pivots sharply into full confrontation mode against King Gomah, marking the beginning of Daima's climactic final stretch. With only three episodes left after this one, the series is clearly stacking its biggest set pieces. This directly feeds into Episode 18, 'Awakening,' where the escalation continues toward the season's endgame.
