Nothing beats a backstory. Usually, it hooks and I thought I'd hear "my precious!" I enjoyed the humor more than the action. Few more episodes left and I think they save the ultimate battle for last.

The entrance of King Kadan was perfect, no timing could have been better than that. I also love how they paused everything to narrate and explain what the Third Eye is and its history. I wonder what other plans King Gomah still has up his sleeve.

Goku and Supreme Kai get quieter moments again, which help the setting feel richer, but the pacing dips more noticeably here. It’s not weak, just less exciting compared to the stronger episodes. Still worth it for buildup 🌍
