it's nice to see how senku started in this stone world. but with how things ended in the present, parang gusto kong madaliin yung flash back para lang malaman yung susunod na nangyari sa present HAHAHAH syempre buhay pa yan si senku, gang s4 pa to eh.

The pacing is quite crazy, but this episode slows down a lot for the audience to digest all the back-to-back major events that happened across the past few episodes. This decision was great! I really liked the Tsukasa 'what if' scenes, especially because I like their dynamic lots

We finally got to see Senku's perspective on the whole revival thing! It made him much more relatable and grounded because of how otherworldly he seemed previously; it was a little unrealistic at first that a high schooler accomplished so much. His character is made more likeable

The whole petrification thing with Senku in this episode really gave the eerie and bleak vibe the situation had for Senku and friends.. But then again there are 24 episodes and he's on the cover so I doubt he will die here. The tone towards the end is not like a farewell episode.

Taiju and Yuzuriha tried to attack Tsukasa, but their plan was thwarted because Tsukasa knew very well about Taiju's nature, so Taiju and Yuzuriha fled right away, carrying Senku's body, hoping that they could resuscitate him.

Pure adrenaline and high-stakes science! That confrontation at the miracle cave is intense, the tension is crazy, and the "death" cliffhanger left me reeling. It really shows how ruthless this new stone world is.

It's getting heavy. The flashback to their childhood was a nice touch—totally hits you in the feels. Tsukasa isn't just a villain; he's a force of nature. Still, no way our science boy is gone for good.

Episode 5 feels like a turning point as the foundation of the new Stone World is finally set. I liked how Senku's determination becomes stronger, even after facing betrayal and danger. The episode makes it clear that rebuilding civilization will not be easy.

The world suddenly feels bigger here. New place, new faces, new energy. I liked how it doesn’t rush introductions. You just slowly take it in. It’s kind of exciting not knowing who to trust yet.

Senku drawing science diagrams in the dirt? Genius move fr. Animation on the chalk lines and his smirk so satisfying. Vibe educational but hype. Made me feel like I was learning with them, peak nerd energy.

Episode 5 slows down in a good way, showing Senku laying the groundwork for civilization. The small science wins feel satisfying, proving progress starts with simple but smart steps.

Tsukasa is an ass! I’ve hated his guts from the start. It’s so ironic that the stone that destroyed humanity is exactly what saved Senku from death. Also, those monkeys thinking Senku was just a "shiny monkey" was hilarious! Science is officially back in business.

Senku's 3D chess moves are insane fr. The flashback of him alone gives us a better understanding on how he overcame some challenges, Senku's already 10 steps ahead. Animation was consistent. Love how they showed Senku's struggle alone.

This show really changed my opinion on science. I never really thought about the progress of humanity till now. It was really inspiring watching Senku using his science. This is probably one of the best story animes ever — would definitely recommend.

No Big Fight -- Slow burn, smart setup, and you can feel the Kingdom of Science starting to take shape.

Emotional and raw. The animation shines in the facial expressions, showing pure desperation and grit. It balances high-stakes tension with a lot of heart.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the heated confrontation in episode 4 that crystallized the ideological divide at the heart of the season, episode 5 pumps the brakes to fill in crucial backstory about Senku's earliest days awake in the stone world. This foundational episode deepens the audience's investment in his scientific mission before the narrative escalates into the larger civilization-building challenges and conflicts that define the back half of the 24-episode season.
