Honestly Hyoga and Homura's plan didn't make that much sense to me. If they wanted to corner all of them and leave Senku with no options, they could've done literally anything but follow them into a mysterious/unfamiliar area.

It was so fun seeing Senku and his allies use their surroundings to their advantage. Their resourcefulness is what makes their inventions and discoveries really entertaining! His alliance with Gen has also solidified so much, he's become one of the best comrades!

Hyoga is so cool! I also did not expect Tsukasa's right hand to also have a right hand lol, their teamwork was pretty cool and tactical. Overall really fun to watch amid all the 1 dimensional villains.

The "Tube Spear" vs. "Katana" fight was intense. Seeing Hyoga’s spinning spear get absolutely wrecked by the science of metallurgy had the comments section cheering. The village's growth is honestly so satisfying to watch.

Senku stays calm even when things shift. Chrome trying to keep up shows how much he’s grown. Gen adds that chaotic brain energy. It feels tense but controlled.

Clear starry night during celebration? Aesthetic 100. Animation on the stars and firelight beautiful. Atmosphere joyful and united. Felt like hope in the stone world, wholesome af.

Episode 19 turns up the pressure as Tsukasa’s forces attack Ishigami Village and set it ablaze, forcing everyone to retreat while Suika’s quick thinking saves the day. Senku starts planning a tech edge for the future, teasing the next big leap in their fight.

Stealth mode on, using science for recon is such a flex. The animation during the "sneaky" moments had great atmosphere and lighting.

Episode 19 was rather dull for the most part in my eyes. but i hope it picks up. The stone wars was a beautiful way of humans being humans.

Seeing modern tech in a stone world is a cool visual irony. The animation during the building phase is satisfying to watch. The "Kingdom of Science" is finally taking shape.

This episode feels tense and very strategic. You can tell everything is leading toward a major turning point.
The mind games and careful planning really stand out — it’s not just action, it’s intelligence vs intelligence. I felt excited and nervous at the same time.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 19 of 24, 'To Modernity' lands squarely in the escalation phase of the Stone Wars conflict, building directly on the Kingdom of Science's preparations against Tsukasa's empire. It serves as a critical pivot point — translating the earlier strategic groundwork into direct confrontation while setting up 'The Age of Energy,' where the focus shifts toward new technological breakthroughs. This is the stretch where the season commits to its endgame trajectory, making it essential viewing for everything that follows.
