The battle tactics here were insane. Imagine teenagers preparing for war against trained soldiers—it sounds unbelievable, but only Senku’s team could pull something like this off.

This feels like we’re approaching the climax of the season. The revelations and buildup created strong anticipation as they prepare to confront Stanley’s team. It’s getting really exciting now.

The biggest twist isn’t even the Medusas, it’s realizing Xeno was basically live-streaming their location to Stanley the whole time. Imagine having an enemy AND accidentally giving them GPS xD

The vibe is no longer discovery, it’s exploitation. Episode 7 feels like the moment the Kingdom of Science goes from explorers to engineers of god-tier technology

I keep learning new things in this series FR. Who would have thought synthetic diamonds were stronger than natural ones? LMAO we weren't taught that in school sir

As we're setting things up, Stanley is inching closer and closer. It's really getting foreboding. The pressure is on!

Kaseki and Joel are really carrying the team right now. The pacing seems slower but understandable as we're in strategy-mode.

If a geology student or a real geologist were watching this anime, Ep 6 and Ep 7 would be gold mines, or should I say diamond mines? Haha! The research they do for this anime is top-tier. Tension is definitely rising right now

Honestly, for the past few episodes there have been rapid-fire creations and output from the main cast, which all felt sudden and rushed! Especially in this episode, where their newly coined stealth boat becomes a huge wooden fortress. I sometimes forget they're mostly teenagers.

Senku's group immediately have a surefire plan and solution for the hovering threat of their opponents approaching. Their grand fortress and setup feel underdeveloped though, it was done in seconds? Everything lines up like a grand finale, but there are still 5 episodes left..

Stanley's team catches onto the decoy trick, with Xeno's transmission and actually set off for Senku's group. The stakes immediately rise with both sides are aware of each other's intent & locations.

the pacing is remarkably aggressive. it feels structurally bizarre to have stakes this massive when we are not even in the final three episodes of the season yet.

It's amazing how Xeno and Stanley were able to communicate just through the radio, it just shows how much Stanley understands Xeno since they've been with each other ever since they were young. Chrome's ideas always amazes me. I cant wait for the two groups to face each other.

The diamond hunt is classic Dr. Stone at its best — science solving science. Chrome's petrification gambit is bold and genuinely tense, while the farewell to Corn City hits harder than expected. Kaseki's Medusa breakthrough keeps momentum high. A well-paced setup episode.

This ep is SOLID setup but DEFINITELY feels like they're speedrunin to the finish. Senku really out here thinkin about space rockets while Stanley's closin in with guns drawn. That's 10 billion percent insane and I'm here for it.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 7 of 12, 'Stone Sanctuary' arrives right after 'Diamond Heart' secured critical resources, and redirects the narrative inward to explore the Senku-Xeno relationship at its roots. This character study serves as essential connective tissue between the action-heavy first half and the ideological confrontations still ahead. It directly sets up 'The Things We Once Wanted to Erase,' promising that the personal histories unpacked here will fuel the season's endgame conflicts.
