Arrival at Corn City
The journey to Corn City begins with a melancholic glance back at Yuzuriha petrified, a constant reminder of the mission's cost. Taiju and Chelsea marvel at the speed of the Demetrius, their advanced vessel cutting through the waves towards North America. Upon arrival, the grim spectacle of their petrified allies in Corn City greets them, a silent testament to the recent war. Chelsea quickly recounts the battle with Stanley's forces, setting a somber tone for their next challenge.
The Impossible Machine
Senku gathers the reunited crew and drops a bombshell: they will build a computer from scratch. The idea is met with predictable shock; a machine of such complexity seems an impossible dream for their stone-age world. Ryusui is thrilled by the concept, seeing a tool for his global ambitions, but Sai, the mathematician, voices stark skepticism, calculating the immense hardware gap. Senku, ever the provocateur, merely smirks, declaring they will start with binary logic.
The Flag Game
Senku begins his masterclass, distilling the essence of digital technology to two simple states: light on for '1,' light off for '0.' He then mobilizes his human "circuitry" for a hands-on lesson, enacting a "flag game" to demonstrate logic gates. Kohaku, Gen, and Chrome become the physical components, raising and lowering flags to simulate an AND gate. Suika and Chelsea delight in this slow, manual demonstration of abstract logic, bringing the concept to life.
The Parametron Revealed
The flag game moves to binary addition, and Sai correctly observes that human speed will never suffice for true computation. Senku then introduces his secret weapon: ferrite rings, which he calls "donuts." These are revealed to be Parametrons, an ingenious pre-transistor logic device capable of high-speed binary manipulation. Kaseki and his team immediately prepare to craft these crucial components. The playful Mecha-Senku segment simplifies the complex physics, explaining how these rings will form the Stone World's electronic brain, visibly shaking Sai with the realization of what is possible.
The First Logic Gate
Through Kaseki's skilled hands, the first Parametron logic gate is successfully assembled, a crude board of copper-wound donuts and vacuum tubes. Sai watches, transfixed, as his mathematical theories manifest into physical reality. The screen flashes with a triumphant "Calculation circuit obtained!" as the team celebrates. Sai puts the new Arithmetic Logic Unit to the test, and its correct calculation of "1+1=2" ignites cheers. He quickly calculates the need for thousands more, but Senku remains unfazed, promising the power of automation.
Industrial Automation
The staggering task of producing 200,000 Parametrons looms, threatening to overwhelm the crew with its sheer magnitude. Senku unveils his solution: automated machinery to handle the tedious wire-winding. The visuals shift to the people of Corn City, unified in their effort, building an industrial factory line. This automation marks a critical evolution for the Science Kingdom, moving beyond manual labor to large-scale production. Sai works tirelessly amidst the factory's hum, his mathematical obsession fueling his drive as the "Stone World Computer" slowly takes shape, reaching its first functional level.
The Fax Machine
With computational power growing, Senku identifies the next hurdle: instant long-distance communication with Japan. He proposes the construction of a FAX machine, patiently explaining the concepts of image scanning and remote printing via radio waves. The crew, once again, greets this idea with a mixture of awe and disbelief, a "magic" that they nonetheless trust Senku to deliver. A prototype is quickly built, utilizing carbon-impregnated paper and a heating needle. Senku demonstrates its success by transmitting a simple drawing, which appears on the receiver, effectively "teleporting" the image and cementing their conquest of global data transmission.
Ryusui's "Recruitment"
With the computer and communication systems stable, the crew prepares for their next journey. Sai assumes his place is to remain with the computer, diligently connecting circuits. However, Ryusui has other plans, abruptly grabbing Sai and insisting he join them on the Demetrius. Sai's protests are loud and comedic, yet futile, as he is physically dragged aboard. Ryusui declares his genius is needed on the front lines, a forceful, albeit effective, recruitment strategy.
Sai's Past, Ryusui's Intentions
A somber flashback reveals Sai's childhood as a mathematical prodigy, valued only as a tool by his wealthy Nanami family. He was forced into endless calculations, stripped of agency, a trauma he desperately wanted to avoid reliving. On the ship's deck, Gen and Chelsea discuss Sai's past, Gen noting his flight to India in the old world. Sai reflects on his half-brother Ryusui, seeing him as equally "greedy" for his math skills. Chelsea weeps for Sai's plight, but Gen offers a reinterpretation: perhaps Ryusui's "greed" was simply a clumsy attempt to connect with his brother.
A Game of Chess, A Brother's Hand
Ryusui finds Sai on the deck and challenges him to a game of chess, a silent, intense duel under the moonlight. Flashbacks intercut the game, showing a young Ryusui constantly seeking out Sai with toys and models, always wanting his brother near. The game concludes, and Ryusui extends his hand to Sai, not as a master but as an equal partner and a brother. Sai, finally shedding his resentment, breaks into a genuine, happy smile. He firmly shakes Ryusui's hand, accepting his place. The screen announces "SAI joined the party!" as the crew celebrates his full integration.
Setting Sail Anew
As the sun dips below the horizon, painting the ocean in warm hues, the Science Kingdom prepares for their next grand voyage. They send a final FAX transmission back to Japan, a group photo from Corn City, a symbol of their unity and success. The Demetrius cuts through the water, heading towards a new resource location. The episode closes on a wide shot of the vast ocean and the moon, a silent promise of the monumental challenges that still lie ahead for their lunar mission.
EPISODE REVIEWS

It is now the dawn of the industrial age. New technologies emerging from scratch. The progress of the primitive age is gradually advancing. I never knew science is this fun to watch.

The cliffhanger from the previous episode motivates Senku and his friends to investigate further. To do that, Senku creates a new tool, and interestingly, it not only helps with the investigation but also allows them to gather more resources for their journey and accelerate the development of their civilization. It was really satisfying to watch, and as always, the episode managed to teach us something new.
