Episode Context

Episode 7 continues a pattern established in Episode 6, which explored Zushiohmaru's past, now the lens shifts to Julia, building a parallel backstory arc that deepens the show's psychological foundation at its midpoint. This character groundwork is essential setup for Episode 8, 'Discovery,' where Julia transitions from reflecting on her past to actively investigating other SCM users. Sitting at the exact middle of the 12-episode run, this is the series investing in emotional stakes before the back half escalates the overarching conflict.
