Episode Context

Positioned as the third-to-last episode, 'Fall' serves as the critical backstory beat the series needs before its endgame, building directly on the revelations from Episode 9's 'Intersection.' By grounding Ryuuou's motivations in concrete history, it raises the emotional stakes for the final two episodes where conflicts are expected to reach their peak. This is the calm before the storm, a deliberate narrative pause designed to make the coming resolutions hit harder.
