EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode was slow for me. Elise starts her career and nothing really felt super meaningful imo. Greyham is so cool though LOL I can't wait to see more of him!

Elise's journey begins in this episode. Her interaction with the other characters is quite entertaining. Also, she shows a great determination that develops her character.

Episode Context

Elise trades royal privilege for hospital scrubs, and the shift in setting gives this episode a grounded, earnest energy. The focus here is on proving yourself when nobody knows your name. Elise deliberately strips away her noble status to stand on skill alone, working under a pseudonym at Teresa Hospital. Expect a quieter, character-driven installment that leans into themes of humility and redemption rather than fantasy spectacle. Medical scenarios provide genuine tension as Elise channels her modern knowledge into a world that doesn't have it yet, and her dynamic with mentor Dr. Graham adds a welcome layer of mentorship storytelling. The pacing is steady, letting moments of compassion and determination breathe. If you're here for Elise's personal reinvention arc, this is a key chapter in that transformation.
