EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the resolution of the 'Ice and Dark' arc in episode 24, episode 25 pivots sharply to establish the endgame conflict, tying the city's crisis to a decades-old curse that recontextualizes much of the series' mythology. This is the penultimate episode of the entire 26-episode run, functioning as a direct bridge into the finale, 'Eternal Dark,' where every character thread and lingering mystery is expected to converge.
