Maki calls him a "five-star cleaner," a term that immediately paints him as immensely powerful and ruthless. The team's apprehension is clear; this is no ordinary target.

The reward, a million credits, tempts Kotoha, but Kyoshiro slams his hand down, warning them against the mission. He argues Arslan is too dangerous, calling it a "suicide mission." His body language shows real fear for the younger team members. Despite his objections, Tomoru's resolve remains firm, driven by duty and the mission's allure.

The team prepares, disguising themselves in formal wear to blend in at Arslan's charity gala. They hide their partner Digimon in an instrument case, which vibrates with their muffled arguments. At the opulent venue, Maki navigates the elite crowd with ease, while Tomoru and his team struggle to maintain composure. The contrast between the glamorous facade and their secret mission creates immediate tension.

Clay Arslan himself approaches Maki, his polished charm hiding cold, calculating eyes. He exchanges tense words with her, recognizing her as a potential threat. After Maki and the team leave, Arslan's mask drops, revealing sharp suspicion. He orders his bodyguard, Kento, to keep a constant watch on Maki, showing he is always several steps ahead.

Moving through the service corridors, Tomoru observes an elderly couple using a cryptic phrase: "land of mirrors." He correctly identifies it as the password for the underground auction. The team enters a service elevator, Ryusei bypassing the security to reach a special 'S' level. They step out into a massive hangar where a giant Shisamon Digimon, used as a transport, awaits. Masked elite guests board the creature with arrogant ease, a stark display of enslaved Digimon. Tomoru realizes they must board it too, slipping inside through a maintenance hatch as it begins to move.

The Shisamon transports them through a surreal digital underworld to a subterranean coliseum, where Arslan's Associate welcomes the masked elite. The arena is packed, red eyes glowing with predatory excitement. The first auction item, a captive BomberNanimon, pleads for release, forcing Kotoha to visibly recoil in horror. Ryusei diligently records the bidding, capturing irrefutable proof.

Gekomann senses dozens of distressed Digimon nearby, his usual goofy demeanor replaced by alarm. Tomoru follows him, finding a corridor lined with containment cells filled with malnourished Digimon and their human partners. The sight of these families, held like livestock, shifts the mission from investigation to rescue. Tomoru sees a Young Girl with her terrified Tinker-mon, offering a small, reassuring word.

In the main arena, Tinker-mon is announced as the next auction item, described as a "miraculous fairy." Tomoru hears this, knowing they must act. Unable to contain his anger, Gekomann bursts from his hiding spot, attacking guards and blowing their cover. Alarms blare, and Ryuto, with his Commandramon, emerges, ready to neutralize the intruders.

Kotoha orders Wolvermon to destroy the cell locks, freeing the captives. Chaos erupts as the masked elite panic and flee. Ryuto steps forward, blocking their escape, his expression cold as he confronts Tomoru. He dismisses Tomoru's outrage over Arslan's auctions as "naive sentiment," believing the world is built on power. Rampmon then traps the freed captives, pinning the team down.

Tomoru shields the Young Girl and Tinker-mon, telling his team to focus on the other captives. Gekomann, grimly determined, stands by Tomoru. Ryuto commands Rampmon to strike, but Tomoru initiates a full E-Pulse synchronization. Gekomann absorbs the energy, his body warping and growing into the powerful Armasmon, ready to fight Rampmon.

Kyoshiro arrives, his partner Musamamon carving through security drones, clearing an escape path. He scolds the team but quickly coordinates with Armasmon. Seeing his forces crumble, Ryuto becomes desperate, forcing Rampmon into an unstable, artificial Digivolution. His eyes turn vacant as he pushes his E-Pulse to its limit, a dangerous gamble for a desperate man.

Rampmon warps into the terrifying, unstable Astarmon, its skeletal wings and bladed form fragmenting the arena. Astarmon lashes out wildly, ignoring Ryuto's commands, overwhelming Armasmon and Musamamon. It then targets the exposed Young Girl and Tinker-mon.
