The politics gets even more stressful than the actual monsters.

This is a slower, reflective episode about how the world sees the Exorcists. It adds a lot of grit to the setting. There's a really interesting scene where Lavi and Bookman discuss the "history" they are supposed to be recording.

This episode is a delightful shift in tone that fans absolutely adore. This one is best for fans who love character driven humor.

The episode feels with sharp, high-stakes graphics as Lulubell begins her infiltration is perfectly paced. The climax moment is the sudden, silent slaughter of the gate guards.

The kind of episode where every option hurts and you just sit there like PLEASE pick something that doesn’t destroy everyone but nope that’s not happening.

The animation of the lightning versus Mugen's blue illusions is excellent. A duel of art. Only one of them can escape that falling room. Despite the fact that both are driven by agony in this heartbreaking battle. Kanda demontrates why he is the most deadly weapon in the order.

all the political and stuff kinda don't match well with me ! personally didn't like this episode much ! but kinda necessary for further arcs hence it was okey

A slow but really information-heavy episode. Although I would say it does a pretty good job in opening the story for the new arc and using this episode and the meeting for the branch managers as a way to bridge the previous arcs with the upcoming ones.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Exorcists' return to headquarters in 'Homecoming,' this episode turns the lens inward, shifting from external battles to the politics and loyalties fracturing the Black Order from within. At episode 95 of 103, the series is deep in its endgame territory, and the internal scrutiny on display here carries real stakes. It directly sets up 'Still the Clock Ticks,' where the fallout from these deliberations begins to materialize into tangible consequences for the protagonists.
