We’re back at HQ for a comedy plot. Komui's overprotective siscon energy is at full force! The antics of this week's Akuma are so much funnier than they have any right to be: that poor monster's so unlucky to land into a joke episode. No real action, but lots of gags and laughs~

Pretty much easy skip filler just like the robot filler episode... gotta say that level two Akuma is creepy as shit though. Easy skip in my opinion.. also love the blast off to space, very team rocket like.

A much more lighthearted filler episode of Koumui being a insanely over protective older brother. Very silly and chaotic with the ways he tries to kill Lenalee's "date". Overall just a rlly funny episode it got some giggles out of me.

A more light-hearted episode to finish the arc. There's not much really in terms of story progression, but it's a breather for sure. In general, very nice intro season with an engaging plot and endearing characters. I will definetly watch the rest and I have great expectations.

This episode focuses on the sibling love between Komui and Lenalee, highlighting Komui’s overprotective side. It’s a nice episode that helps calm things down after so many exhausting missions.

Everyone is exhausted, injured, and trying to figure out what just happened

Lenalee gets a welcome moment to shine, bringing some emotional warmth into the darker tone of the series. It balances character focus with ongoing tension, a reminder of why she’s such an important presence in the team.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Slotted between the hard-hitting 'Pride of the Swordsmen' arc and the darker 'Vampire of the Solitary Castle' story, this filler episode functions as a deliberate tonal palate cleanser. The heavy emotional and physical toll of recent battles makes this comedic breather structurally sensible, even if it contributes nothing to the overarching conflict against the Millennium Earl. Skippable for plot-focused viewers, but rewarding for fans invested in the Black Order's interpersonal chemistry.
