This episode gives some background on how Asunaro and Maki met. Much less chaotic episode outside of that first part. Not the funniest, but still a nice chill episode.

This felt more like an action thriller, because saw Mashiro being blackmailed and having to use all her physical skills to get her phone back.

Soft, nostalgic graphics for the flashback. Asunaro recounting how he and Maki became partners is the peak moment. In this episode, I just understood that every duo has their own weird origin story.

A seemingly small incident involving a lost smartphone turns into a surprisingly tricky mystery. Mashiro eagerly examines the phone for clues while Nagumo quietly pieces together what really happened.

Mashiro loses her phone and goes into nuclear meltdown mode. We also find out how Maki and Asunaro became the world's weirdest duo.

Suddenly the case actually starts making sense and you realize the ridiculous detective work might have been leading somewhere after all.

A series of bizzare missions that pushed Mashiro to her limits in order to get her phone. There are references and parodies in this episode be it from another anime, person and even video game character. Maki and Asunaro have great chemistry, it's nice to know their backstory

The pisode focuses on Asunaro and Maki's start as a detective agency. Well it is practically confirmed that the two is shipped at this point. A well timed lore episode because of the expansion of the character pool. They remain consistent on the humor and the retorts as well.

Another ridiculous and funny episode, though a bit calmer this time. Still super fun to watch. All the characters are just chaotic in their own way. Honestly this show really feels like the next-generation Gintama.
