This episode continues directly from the previous one and brings a pretty big development to the story. It has the usual comedy and ecchi moments but by the end, the episode takes a much darker and more ominous turn and honestly, the way it ends is rather unsavory.

Most epic episode so far. Great battle scenes with lots of actions. Sunabouzu shows once again why he is the phantom of the desert. But the ending was unexpected and harmful. Can't wait to reach the end.

Episode Context

At episode 18 of 24, Desert Punk is firmly in its third act, where the earlier episodic bounty-hunter-of-the-week formula has given way to escalating tensions and more consequential storylines involving Kanta, Junko, and the power structures of the Great Kanto Desert. The preceding episodes have been layering in complications that push Kanta's self-serving philosophy to its limits. This episode continues that trajectory, setting the stage for the final stretch where the series commits to the darker narrative turns it's been foreshadowing.
