Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 19
⚡ ALL REVIEWS
THE MOMENT. Our boy Tanjiro is pinned down, his sword is broken, and Nezuko is caught in the web. He remembers his dad’s fire dance and switches his breathing style mid-air. Nezuko drops the "Blood Burst" and the music kicks in. Best 2 minutes in anime history.
This is probably the best battle shonen out there currently and this is totally a perfect 10/10 anime... the best part about it is how it respects the phrase 'cinematic masterpiece' meaning i like how it is satisfyingly 50% emotional storytelling and 50% hype animation it has.
This one hit hard. Music rising, suddenly the screen bursts with fire, pulling you in. A brother and sister, linked by something quiet but unbreakable, moved through the heat and noise. Crackles and pops from the blaze in the scene crawled across my skin. Totally worth the hype!
The last 6 mins, so the episode is crazy a lot of stuff happening and the ep perfectly continues were we left off, the music and animation is great like the rest of the show. But it's so emotional towards the end, it's crazy!
This episode cooked! The fight scene feels like a movie, with amazing animation and choreography. The soundtrack hits hard, which makes you feel it more. It’s absolute cinema, an unforgettable peak.
I still get goosebumps remembering the moment Tanjiro channeled his father’s dance into the Hinokami Kagura, turning a sacred memory into a weapon of absolute devastation against Rui. The way the animation shifted into that burning, red-hued visual symphony during the climax didn
The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, leaving his sister Nezuko Kamado transformed into one. Determined to turn her back into a human, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to fight powerful demons and uncover the truth behind
This is one of the major character development for Tanjiro as he learns the "hi no kami kagura" breathing! What made me so emotional was the choice of music during the fight and how their mother showed up to Nezuko to help his brother. One of the best episodes in KNY series!
Tanjiro engages the 5th Kizuki Lower moon Rui as he activates the Hinokami Kagura. Nezuko's Blood Art bursts forth to assist him. With its dramatic flames, flowing watercolors, and emotional depth in each frame, Ufotable's animation goes beyond television
The episode is emotional and intense, with beautiful animation and music that make the moment feel powerful and memorable.
This episode definitely raised the bar for global animation standards. The combination of music, animation, and dialogue makes the climax even more impactful and memorable, marking the true beginning for both Tanjiro and Nezuko. More evolved, mature, and powerful
This was honestly overwhelming in the best way! The animation was insane but it was the emotions that really hit. It felt powerful and personal at the same time. I’m not even joking I had to restart it because I needed tissue. Easily one of the best episodes.
An emotionally charged battle pushes strategy, reflexes, and timing to the limit. The episode balances tension, movement, and precision in combat, emphasizing technique, focus, and resolve over brute force. Every moment builds intensity and narrative weight.
Demon Slayer S1E19 feels like a storm drawn in ink and fire. The animation is breathtaking, the cinematography flows like a movie, and the soundtrack hits straight to the chest. At its core is Tanjiro and Nezuko’s bond, fierce, tender, unbreakable.
This episode showed us a glimpse of how powerful Hashiras actually are and with that, we see how far Tanjiro is in terms of strength. This episode foreshadows how wide the gap is between Tanjiro and the strength of a Hashira and how far he still has to develop.
In this episode we were not expecting that Tanjiro were able to use the Sun Breathing a.k.a "Hinokami Kagura". However, we don't have high expectation he could fully utilize the power of his newly discovered technique. So, there is a little hung up which made us more excited.
A technical triumph where Tanjiro’s desperation meets Ufotable’s peak animation. The synergy between Nezuko’s awakening and the visceral score creates a transcendent climax. A masterful study on familial bonds tested against Rui’s lethal and oppressive threads.
Tanjiro faces Rui in a desperate battle while protecting Nezuko. As the fight reaches its peak, Tanjiro unlocks a new breathing technique tied to his father’s dance.
This is that episode. The animation levels up, the emotions hit deep, and the fight feels personal and powerful. When the momentum shifts, it’s goosebumps city. Beautiful, explosive, and unforgettable from start to finish.
