Episode Context

Following 'The Unbreakable Weapon' in Episode 12, which pushed the central conflict to a critical breaking point, 'Ultimate War' arrives as the direct culmination of the series' escalating tensions between demonic and divine power. This is the final episode of a 13-episode run, meaning it carries the full burden of resolving the series' core themes, transformation, identity, and the cost of power, with no sequel episodes to defer to. There is no setup here for what comes next; this is the endpoint.
