a phenomenal climax that delivers on all the built-up tension. the animation during laios's aerial maneuver is stunning, and the brutal consequences of the battle ground the fantasy elements in visceral reality. the literal gutting of the dragon is superb.

i was so incredibly anxious worrying about them for this entire episode! the flashbacks showing the deep bond between the siblings were so beautiful and sad. i am just so relieved that marcille was able to heal laios and reattach his leg....

Girl the worry I had for them the entire episode... I was so anxious. the animation when Laios FLEW was incredible. and oh yes, period, they did it guys! but oh no, Laios's leg! A gut-wrenching episode since they literally gutted the dragon ig idk

This episode is beautifully directed, with exciting action paired up with humor. Detailed keyframes make the battle eye-catching while Laios’ party shows off their serious teamwork. The flashback of the Touden siblings adds a sentimental feel that makes the final scene hit hard!

A very well made battle. With beautiful animation and elaborate expression, the intensity of the battle was properly relayed. Even while adding humor here and there, the intensity continued for a rollercoaster of emotion. The environmental and character movements are realistic that you will be able to understand what's happening. Even after the battle we are glued to our seat after the discovery of Falin's remain.

A thrilling conclusion to this anime's first major arc, giving answers that only give birth to more questions. Cinematography and atmosphere was great, and the emotional moments land just right. In addition, they now seem to connect stories between episodes, which is awesome!

Big‑stakes confrontation with the Red Dragon forces the team to think like strategists, not just fighters. They try to lure it into traps, adapt when plans fail, and exploit its weak point instead of charging blindly. Every choice positioning, distraction, and timing matters.

A masterfully written and directed tonal journey, starting with action and tension from a long-awaited and hard-fought battle, to a sudden and jarring crash back to reality.

Love the animation of the dragon! Not cgi, which make me appreciate the anime more! Hard work for the effects as well! Will they be able to save his sister? Who knows!

This episode focus on battle which is intense the animation is mind blowing and their strategy to take down the monster is funny. overall amazing
