the episode's strategic ambiguity is its most interesting quality. light's central move is simultaneously logical and completely opaque, leaving the audience in the same state of uncertainty as his opponent. whether this lands depends entirely on the payoff.

i genuinely have no idea what light is thinking and at this point i needed a little break to process everything. the mental load of following every layer of this show really does pile up and sometimes stepping away just helps tbh lol

i honestly do not know what light is doing or how he is doing it and i kind of loce that he is managing to confuse someone as brilliant as L. but it is tiring when you genuinely cannot tell if the plan is genius or just falling apart.
