EPISODE REVIEWS
The body-switching Contractor arc wraps up with a surprisingly melancholic twist. Kurasawa's obliviousness plays well against the darkness around him. The implied identity of the Contractor is a nice detail if you catch it.
The detective's interference with the murder of Mr Sakitara’s first wife makes the subplot more interesting than the main plot. The flow of this episode is slow. It builds up at an ample pace. And also, the animation is smooth, while the setting is pretty depressing.
