EPISODE REVIEWS
A tonal shift that actually works. Kurasawa bumbling into Hei's world is genuinely funny without undermining the danger. Mao getting scooped up is a highlight. The mystery building in the background is quietly unsettling.
Subplots are introduced in a placid way. While the new characters are introduced, the plot finds a comical take with the detective and his assistant. Their interference with the MC’s jobs turns the flow and pace of this episode a little hectic. The animation is good throughout.
