We learn everything in this episode, who Junko is exactly, and why they're even stuck in this Academy. We also get to see Junko's many personas which is my favourite part! The anime ended much like the first game, with a cliffhanger. You should definitely play the games too!!

I highly recommend watching the Despair Arc and Future Arc after this anime. Preferably watching the second game first, then Despair arc, Ultra Despair Girls and lastly Future Arc. This episode is really well done and Junko's personality is adapted great in the anime. Everything wrapped up nicely.

I really don’t like the mastermind, she’s so annoying, and even her death doesn’t feel satisfying. There’s an after-credits scene, but it doesn’t pay off.. Overall, you can watch the anime for the story, but for the full experience, I still strongly recommend playing the game
