Danganronpa: The Animation

Buen Thriller.

It amazing franchise..

rating based on the animation series' as a whole, including the other seasons

THE PLOT IS GOOD BUT WHY THE BLOOD COLOR IS PURPLE? ITS CRINGEEEEE(?) :v

We learn everything in this episode, who Junko is exactly, and why they're even stuck in this Academy. We also get to see Junko's many personas which is my favourite part! The anime ended much like the first game, with a cliffhanger. You should definitely play the games too!!

I highly recommend watching the Despair Arc and Future Arc after this anime. Preferably watching the second game first, then Despair arc, Ultra Despair Girls and lastly Future Arc. This episode is really well done and Junko's personality is adapted great in the anime. Everything wrapped up nicely.

This episode is definitely the most shocking plot twist in the entirety of the anime. This is the birth to one of the most iconic characters in the anime community. You've probably seen her before but man is she famous

I gotta say that Kyoko and Makoto bond is so sweet. They trust each other so much and in the future arc, their bond is so much sweeter there. Their trust in each other is so cute

One of the many things that I love about Danganronpa is honestly the lore. I'm not one who is really invested in lore but Danganronpa's lore is for me, very easy to grasp and understand. It's so interesting as well, I just really enjoyed it a lot. There's a 3 hours video on YouTube explaining the Danganronpa timeline if anyone is interested in learning more! It's really how I came to understand the lore better

Yeah I'm definitely on Aoi's side on this one, people may have different opinions but for me her reasons are valid. She's so protective of Sakura and you could really see the bond between them. I mean if my closest friend died and people treated her so badly, I would definitely do what she did like idc you don't get to treat her that way. Their friendship is so genuine it broke my heart ugh

I feel like people often ignored how strong Sakura actually is. Well it's more like I don't see enough people talking about it. Like genuinely there were some moments where she fought formidable opponents and came out unscathed

To this day, I'm still so confused why Hifumi didn't just say the killer's preferred name like... oh okay

You really can't get attached to anyone in this anime to be honest cause you don't know who will die next. Can't believe we lost an icon this time

Honestly out of all three antagonists of Danganronpa, I feel like Byakuya is one of the more unhinged one because why he gotta do all that?? I mean I get his reasoning but that's messed up

I really enjoyed this episode, the pacing is good and the lore is dropped nicely. We find out who the mastermind is and let me tell you, you wouldn't be able to guess who it is.

I personally think it's getting more interesting. It doesn't feel like we're watching a game anymore, it feels like we're in it, trying to solve the mysteries with the characters. Pacing in this one is good too, doesn't feel like I'm wasting time.

BIG THINGS ARE REVEALED! One is revealed involving the students, and the other thing involves the whole game. They're investigating a mystery body, we still don't know who it is. "The show must go on." !!

Starting this episode off with a class trial. Someone being wrongly accuses, turning out to just be a part of the killer's "master plan". This episode is emotional :( The pacing in this episode is better than the previous 2-3 episodes.

Someone is working for the other side...who is it? Friendships are broken up and tension is high. A lot of info is dumped on us in this episode, so you'll have to pay attention!

WHAT A PLOT TWIST. If you rewatch the episode, you'll realise how suspicious the killer (before they were caught) was. This is insane! Also the personality switch and execution...yikes.
