Here we have another reference to the one of the Danganronpa games, Ultra Despair Girls. I really like how the anime clearly explains the timeline of the games and the current reality of the story. It ties all realities seamlessly. This was a very light-hearted, almost game-like episode, that honestly felt like the calm before the storm. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The episode shifts focus to a lighter yet still violent adventure that feels like a mini Ultra Despair Girls sequel. A surprising exit and an ominous message are reported back to the main group, tightening the noose around Makoto.

This episode focuses more on Komaru Naegi and Touko Fukawa, and their dynamic together is always so chaotic but entertaining. I honestly really love them as a duo. I also love how this episode just dropped a possible plot twist during one of Monoca's scenes.
