As a fan of the Danganronpa game franchise, I am absolutely happy that they created an original anime rather than just adapting the 2nd installment of the series. The show is an original, although it uses the characters from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. I'm happy that they made more lore for the characters because they were truly lovable!
Interesting. I like the smooth pacing and how naturally the story flows. It effectively conveys what it needs to introduce to the viewers, especially the characters who will shape the rest of the story. Even though it's only the first episode, it already leaves you looking forward to the next one. The animation and soundtrack are good as well. They have their own distinct style without trying too hard to stand out.
