Episode Context

After the premiere used a pudding-fueled regret to soften audiences into the show's supernatural premise, Episode 2 steps back from sentimentality to cement the Dandelion Clan's identity as the underachieving outliers of the afterlife bureaucracy, a reputation built on quota failures and selective effort. This standalone mission functions as the formula in its purest form, establishing exactly how chaotic a standard Tetsuo-and-Misaki operation looks before Episode 3 disrupts the duo dynamic entirely by introducing a new, decidedly more uptight team member.
