So sweet kali Momo sama Okarun! Maju terus Momo! tapi kasihan sama Jiji sih ribet banget hidupnya dah tapi untungnya dia easy going jadi aman. Endingnya kocak banget wkwkkw.

I don't know why, but behind Jiji's cheerful demeanor, I sense a hidden sadness. Okarun and Momo's chemistry is also starting to build here. I really like the way this animation portrays the emotions in the story.

It a very interesting episode, something to just chill and stay relaxing without to much trouble. I like the way the funniest and lovely parts shows the cotidianity of them. additionally it is impresive the way they add new friends during their way.

A fun cooldown episode that still keeps the danger alive. The family-dinner energy is great, Jiji’s possession rules add tension, and the sleepover setup gives the story a warm vibe before the final chaos hits.

The shift to slice-of-life was exactly what we needed. That moment in the car where Momo holds Okarun’s hand in the tunnel is top-tier romance. Seeing Jiji finally reunite with his parents was heavy, but the soy sauce cliffhanger? Hilarious.

it is a fun breather with some feels here and there, THIS IS A ROMANCE ANIMEEEE!! My heart did skip abit on the car scene holyyyy. Animators did cook here with the small detail of fog on Okarun's glass, you can see they invest time here.

It was fun seeing everyone together like that. Seeing Aira be more honest with herself here made me like her more.

Hilarious first half!! Oh I am in tears laughing. Jiji and Taro have killer comic timing. Peak animation with some real world images cleverly put to tickle the wits! Good episode to balance out the intensity. Evil eye is dangerous!!

A good break from the 4 episodes of action-sequence, we get to see the developing relationship of Okarun and Momo. We also get a bit of world building with more yokais and monster lurking in the world

Action-packed from start to finish. The way they blend sci-fi and occult elements is just brilliant.

Absolute sakuga fest. Cinematic shifts during the chase sequence were dizzying in the best way possible. It’s not just about the flash; it’s the spatial awareness in the choreography that makes Dan Da Dan stand out. This episode feels like a turning point for Okarun’s development

The characters’ personalities are so entertaining here, comedic timing and intense moments blend perfectly. It’s the kind of episode that makes you smile and go “wait-what?!” at the same time.

i feel to comeback at the standard style of dan da dan, like the filler episodes, i expect a new arc would be interesting to see something like before

Very fast-paced, barely slows down at all.
Mostly just continuous attacking throughout.
Works well if you like constant action , on a personal note im loving thisss

The scene between Okarun and Ayase in the car was sweet, and the ending just killed me with the way Jiji turned into evil eye. That's hilarious

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the intense action-heavy sequences of the first quarter of Season 2, episode 5 serves as a deliberate breather at roughly the midpoint approach, letting the aftermath of recent events settle into the characters' lives. Jiji's possession remains the central thread connecting the emotional and supernatural stakes, while the episode deepens bonds that will clearly be tested when the Naki Kito threat escalates. This is foundation-laying territory — the kind of episode that makes the back half of a season hit harder.
