Episode Context

Coming directly off Episode 77, 'At the Night of the Full Moon,' which delivered the series' most significant late-stage developments, this finale exists to land the emotional weight those events set in motion. As the 78th and final episode, it closes every major character arc the series has built, there is nothing left to set up. This is the end of the road for Ruu, Wannya, Miyu, and Kanata, and the episode is entirely focused on honoring that conclusion.
