Coming off the more grounded, slice-of-life feel of 'Ruu-kun and the Department Store,' this episode pivots back to the alien-visitor side of the show's world, using Seiya as the catalyst. At episode 26 of 78, the series is solidly mid-season, and this installment acts as a tonal bridge before the narrative begins shifting toward Ruu's backstory and family connections in the upcoming 'A Correspondence with Ruu's Parents.'
