Episode Context

A tense, introspective chapter that trades action for atmosphere. The DC organization's façade begins to crack as suspicion and secrecy take center stage, creating an uneasy undercurrent throughout. Ken Ando finds himself navigating an increasingly uncomfortable position within the organization, while Mizuki Kamijo grapples with discoveries that deepen her unease. The pacing is measured and deliberate, giving character dynamics room to breathe and letting mistrust simmer rather than boil over. This is the kind of episode that rewards patient viewers, one that builds complexity quietly, layering questions about DC's true intentions without tipping its hand. Fans of character-driven science fiction will find this stretch engaging, though those craving mech action may need to wait a little longer.
