EPISODE REVIEWS
As expected from Sunrise Studio, this episode fully showcases its impressive mech animation during the battle sequences. The episode contains some gore, but the studio handles it tastefully without showing excessive graphic detail. This also marks the debut of short-haired Ange, though only after an underwhelming first sortie and a chaotic second one. The only thing that bothered me was that one detail during the battle. It wasn't anything to do with the animation, so I'm hoping it'll be explained later along with some of the other mysteries.
Very emotional episode. For just three episodes, I am wondering what is the plan of the MC? A lot need to be dug up to find out the truth and why this are all happening!
The emotional weight in this episode is insane, and as a viewer, you feel every bit of the guilt, disgust, sadness, brutality, and hype. It is so hard for Ange to come to terms with her new reality, and her frustration is completely palpable. I am incredibly eager to see how the other characters react to these events and what decisions will be made moving forward.
