EPISODE REVIEWS
If you're looking for an anime with action, mechs, a touch of ecchi, and some yuri then this one might be worth checking out. As expected from Sunrise Studio, they've truly mastered the art of animating mechs. This episode did an excellent job of introducing the main character without overlooking any important details. As for the soundtrack, the contrast between the medieval-style music and the setting of a highly advanced civilization is surprisingly entertaining. I don't know if it was intentional, but I noticed some subtle references in the opening sequence to the studio's previous works 😆
I did not know what to expect at first. Really love the opening music we hear. You can literally tell, something depressing or tragic happened beforehand. It's connected to the character singing it. Also it has good animation and CGI for the year 2014. I hope we can have a good run from here since I am actually enjoying this mecha series.
This was a really solid start. The moment you hear that specific type of music, you can immediately tell that something tragic is on the horizon. The animation looks incredibly detailed, and I just hope the production value stays this high all the way through to the final episode.
