Episode Context

Arriving just past the one-third mark of the season, this episode offers a tonal breather following Episode 15's more tension-forward confrontation with mysterious shadow entities. Rather than escalating that conflict, it pivots toward myth and exploration, widening the show's sense of the world Comet inhabits. It serves as a bridge into Episode 17, 'Meteo-san's Tears,' which signals a shift toward deeper character emotion and relationship development.
